Fish

One of the most healthful proteins available for the heart and brain, fish is a major component of the Mediterranean food pyramid. With thousands of islands in the region, it’s no wonder that fruits of the sea are abundant. From squid and octopus to sardines, mackerel, salmon and tuna, our fish offerings are available in tins of various sizes. Some are pates while others are filleted. Fish may be enjoyed straight, grilled or stewed as appetizers, soup and sauce ingredients. Our most popular item is tarama (carp roe) that is used to make the Greek caviar spread, taramosalata.
